Sales & Field Support Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Sales Support Technicians are an integral part of our service team and as such, candidates can expect to have a diverse workday. This position travels locally almost daily with rental equipment and supplies. A typical day starts with preparing/loading vehicles with equipment and products for delivery to our customers. Once packed and secured, you deliver the order to the location, support our customers by answering questions, training them to operate & troubleshoot rental equipment. This position is a great entry level position that allows candidates to learn from the ground up and discover diverse opportunities within our growing company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Represent the company with the highest principles and positive attitude.

• Safe operations of box truck and towing equipment to perform customers deliveries in PA & NJ.

• Provide basic level technical support and training onsite to our customers.

• Basic mechanical aptitude. Able to make minor mechanical repairs to equipment.

• Develops a thorough knowledge of company material and equipment offerings and can provide information to support others within the organization as well as customers.

• Answers questions and addresses technical issues for our customers on a daily basis.

• Stay up to date with industry standards and safety trainings.

• Maintain knowledge of technical documentation, application and troubleshooting guidelines.

• Work outside in all types of weather.

• Move heavy objects, adequately and safely pack supplies into box truck and attach equipment for towing.

• Clean, power wash, keep equipment and working area organized.

• Support sales team and assist sales reps as needed.

• Completes inspections on our rental equipment.

• Accepts and completes projects for the sales team.

• Supports team with existing customer relationship development.

• Nurtures & maintains customer relationships.

• Proficient use of computer applications and email communication.

• Team oriented; job may include more duties than what is listed.

   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sales or Warehouse experience preferred.

• Comfortable driving daily, travel up to 80% of day in a box truck.

• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces.

• Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Committed to working safely and following all policies and procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, problem solving and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Can do attitude, create win win situations for our customer and teams.

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and succeed.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

• Candidate will need to be pallet jack and forklift certified.

• Ability to lift 75lbs.

• Candidate will acquire & pass a Non-CDL D.O.T. Physical, must be maintained yearly.
