Production Associate - Part Time

COMPANY OVERVIVEW:

Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is an industry leader in the production and distribution of pavement preservation and maintenance products.  We are seeking a new team member for Highway Signs business located in Gainesville, Florida. As a leading sign shop specializing in traffic signs and roadway control signage, we also provide a variety of materials for roadway contractors. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations, customer interactions, and production tasks who possess an entrepreneurial attitude and possess the leadership that can support the initiatives and goals of the organization to continue with their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fabricate products according to detailed specifications.

 • Input orders, designs, and data while processing sales using various computer programs.

 • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

 • Utilize small power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

 • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.

 • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

 Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

 • Proficient in using and learning various computer software programs.

 • Ability to accurately fabricate and assemble products.

 • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery.

 • Familiarity with small power tools and hand tools.

 • Excellent attention to detail, quality control, and organizational skills.

 • Experience with Excel and Outlook is preferred.

 • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (not required).

 • Forklift experience is a plus (not required).

Schedule:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & every other Saturday

 • 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break (7:25 AM - 4:45 PM)

 • Rotating weekend shifts on Saturdays (7:45 AM - 12:30 PM)

Additional Information:

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.

 • Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors as needed.
