JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the retail stores in the Region.

·         Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely

·         Order all materials for Stores in region

·         Support Customers when needed

·         Customer Service Support when needed

·         Ensure accuracy of materials

·         Perform thorough inventory discrepancies

·         Coordinate the cycle count process

·         Send excess inventory to locations to increase revenue

·         Weekly cycle counting at stores

·         Work with vendors

·         Receiving and shipping of items

·         Purchasing of stock for inventory

·         Picking of items

·         Processing Purchase Orders

·         Maintain Proper stock levels

·         Maintaining showroom

·         Maintain item management

·         Position is required every other Saturday from 7-noon

 

Requirements:

·         High School diploma or GED

·         2 yrs of applicable production experience in a similar role

·         Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment

·         Good communication skills, able to coach others and maintain a positive work environment

·         Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching

·         Frequent requirement for attention to detail; prolonged use of a computer terminal and other electronic equipment

·         Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs

·         Able to work 8 hour shifts standing

·         Able to work with minimal degree of supervision

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills

·         Inventory experience with cycle counting

·         Retail Experience a plus

·         Proficient use of computer applications and email communication

·         Valid Drivers License, comfortable driving, regional travel up to 35% of month

·         Team oriented; job may include more duties than what is listed
